MODIY is made for you. Start here and be inspired by all the possibilities to design your own bespoke furniture. In our user-friendly configurator, you can experiment with dimensions, shapes, functions and colours. Stretch, adjust, move and swap elements around until your furniture is perfectly balanced with your wishes and personal style.
Entire wardrobe
1. Define your space
Go through the configuration assistant to define your space.
- Cabinet type: Choose a cabinet with or without (standard) divider panels. Divider panels have a decorative function and can only be applied to freestanding cabinets.
- Placement in the space: Choose how your cabinet will be positioned in your space.
- Room dimensions: Enter the height of your room and choose whether you want the doors to run all the way up to the ceiling. We always allow a small margin to ensure your cabinet fits perfectly.
On the next page, you can fill the available space between two walls with PAX cabinets and MODIY additions, or indicate how many cabinets you want to place in your space.
Side panels: You can add side panels if your cabinet is freestanding in the room.
2. Your IKEA wardrobe
Your MODIY design is based on the IKEA PAX wardrobe, which you purchase separately from IKEA.
In the configurator, specify which size PAX wardrobe you have chosen. This is important, as we produce your custom panels precisely to fit your wardrobe based on these dimensions.
- Depth: Choose either 35 cm or 58 cm
- Height: Choose either 201 cm or 236 cm
- Colour: White, White glazed oak effect, Grey Beige, Dark Grey
3. Customize your wardrobe
When you complete the configuration assistent, your details will be filled in automatically. If you start directly from the configurator or want to adjust the number of cabinets, you can do so in this step.
Add cabinets by increasing the number of columns and adjust whether you want the doors to extend all the way to the ceiling. In the “per cabinet module” tab you can adjust the size of your PAX unit or choose a MODIY addition such as the VAX or a filler panel.
4. Material / colour selection
Fully customize the look of your wardrobe.
Choose the colour of the material and the edge finishing. This allows you to creatively play with striking contrasts or opt for a subtle tone-on-tone finish.
5. Choice of handles
Add a handle that perfectly complements your design. You can choose from different styles, lengths and colours. We will pre-drill the holes for the handles in the correct positions so you can install them straight away.
6. Options
Make your wardrobe completely bespoke with optional side panels (left and right): Side panels allow you to seamlessly align your PAX wardrobe with walls or other furniture, creating a neatly finished and sturdy result.
Per column
In this tab you can adjust the size of your PAX unit per column or choose a MODIY addition such as the VAX or a filler panel.
